Apprentice Service Engineer

Our client is seeking a Service Engineer Apprentice to join them on a permanent basis. The service engineer apprenticeship is a three year program consisting of 28 weeks studying for NVQ level 2 in Construction Plant Maintenance. You will spend two weeks per year at the manufacturer training school, continuous self-development, on the job workshop / field training programme under the supervision of a senior team members, health and safety training in manual handling, PAT testing, etc. You will gain the necessary skills to effectively and efficiently maintain and repair construction industry equipment, successfully completing the three year apprenticeship to qualify to become a Workshop Engineer. To be considered for this role you will have a keen interest in mechanical / electrical equipment, you will be keen to learn and hungry to grow and develop within a hugely successful organisation who are leaders in their field. A 'can-do' attitude is a must. You will work as part of a team, manage your time effectively, be driven and determined to succeed, flexible to change and will have excellent communication skills.
