Reporting to the Trailer Build Supervisor, responsible for the disassembly, refurbishment and rebuild of gas transportation Trailers to an exceptionally high standard.
Terms
* Permanent contract.
* Shift pattern currently days: 6:30am - 4:15pm Monday - Thursday.
* Shift working may be required at busy periods
* Contributory pension scheme
* Profit related bonus payable if company hits budgeted profit targets
* 27 days holiday, including bank holidays and factory shutdown periods.
Key Skills
* Mechanical fitting or similar experience required.
* Experience in Pneumatic/Hydraulic systems advantageous
* Experience and understanding of assembly drawings.
* Experience in working to close tolerance.
* Hand tool experience:
* Air Gun
* Grinder - sanding and cutting experience
* Electric drills
* Riveting
* Working at heights training and experience
* Keen eye and attention for detail.
* Flexible and adaptable.
* Ambitious and self-motivated
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Have a can-do attitude and a team player.
* Pride in workmanship
Desirable skills/Requirements
* Welding - TiG
* Current counter balance fork lift license.
* Current overhead crane license.
* Full clean driving license with own transport.
* Excellent time and attendance record.
* Strong supporting CV showing relevant experience, stability and growth
