Position: Shift Maintenance Manager - New Factory

Location: Coalville, East Midlands

Salary: circa GBP41'000 per annum + Additional Benefits

Hours of work: Day Shift, 7am to 7pm, 4on-4off, 5on-5off, resulting in 2 weekends off per month

Duration: Permanent

We have an exciting and new opportunity available for an Engineering Maintenance Shift Managers for this very well respected manufacturer based in the Leicestershire area, with a number of manufacturing plants based across the UK.

With a major plant investment program already underway, promising state-of-the-art equipment, layout and efficiency, our client now requires an Engineering Shift Managers to drive the business, taking engineering to the next level for production, quality and overall efficiency. This presents an outstanding opportunity for a high calibre leader to transfer knowledge and experience from other or similar industries.

Through taking control of maintenance you will be required to utilise TPM Tools and Techniques to generate Continuous Improvement across all areas of Manufacturing capability, minimising reactive maintenance activities and making improvements to planned maintenance activities where possible.

Key Working Relationships of the Shift Engineering Managers

You will be reporting directly into the Chief Engineering Manager working as part of a highly talented management team driven to deliver exceptional results

You will be responsible for the engineering teams at the new Factory

Regularly interacting and providing insight and influence at all levels, across the business from Management to engineering associates in leading and encouraging best practice sharing

Experience and Qualifications Required:

A recognised Engineering qualification - Mechanical or Electrical

Demonstrable experience of managing and leading teams of maintenance engineers within an engineering department.

Demonstrable experience of the application of TPM within a process related manufacturing environment

A strong appreciation of the importance of safe working practices and health and safety within a manufacturing environments

Experience of departmental budgeting & cost control - Desirable
