McIver Knight are partnering with a growing Bedfordshire based sales and distribution business that operate in the flow control sector. The company are a stockholder and distributor of flow control solutions such as: Valves, Solenoids, and Actuators into the process Industries and supply into markets sectors such as Biogas, Brewing, Chemicals, Food, Beverage, Oil & Gas and Water.
The company are now looking to add an additional Sales Engineer to their team to assist in dealing with inbound sales enquiries and orders from initial enquiry up to the point of order. You will be expected to generate some element of new business, however some of this will be generated through building relationships and repeat business with customers as you assist them with their enquiries and the rest will come from maintaining contact with previous customers and prospects using the company CRM.
You should have proven experience in:
- Sales / internal sales
- ensuring a high-quality customer experience - always
- Being prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that experience
- experience in technical sales of products related to actuated valves
(However the company will also provide full technical training with regards to the product.)
And you will:
- Be adept at helping to identify customers' needs
- Gain customer trust with your professional, knowledgeable and friendly approach
- Take ownership of enquiries/quotation from initiation to after sales contact
- Sell a solution, as well as product
The company believe strongly in training and so addition to their in-house training, you will be provided with a mentor to assist in your integration into the business. They also provide annual external sales training courses to hone and develop your skills alongside formal product training from external suppliers.
In return for your hard-work, the company can offer an excellent salary of around GBP30-35K plus benefits and a secure career position with an established, yet still expanding company.
