Our client is looking for a confident, self-starter with a solid, background in the sales training and coaching industry who has experience of developing Sales Professionals and Sales Managers. CIPD certification in training practice or equivalent desirable for this role.
Skills & Experience
- Design and management of new and exciting methods of L&D delivery in a large communications organisation
- Sales performance management
- Leading large capability programmes within a B2B sales environment
- Understands the Business Sales environment and experienced in design and delivery of programmes that deliver business benefit.
- Managerial and sales coaching
- Creation of capability focussed programmes
- Commercial and business acumen
- Demonstrates sound knowledge of business sales training design and intervention principles, breadth in Sales Methodology concepts, business operational support environments, business change and strategic sales systems (including Salesforce.com and CloudSense CPQ).
- CIPD certificate in training practice or equivalent

The Role/Candidate
- Develops a capability and performance focussed partnership with Sales Directors, General Managers and Sales Managers.
- Delivers insight, recommendations and MI through the observation and analysis of behavioural and sales performance data.
- Drives improvements in Sales performance, customer experience and employee engagement through innovative support initiatives, programmes and bespoke coaching for managers and teams, using the empirical data obtained from analysis and observation.
- Define, design and deliver a programme of accredited and innovative sales capability development including associated 'on the job' assignments and other embedding activities that cements a common approach, language, sales execution, capability and knowledge standard across the Corporate Sales channel.
- Scoping, design, delivery of specialised product development that delivers expert insight into driving value based customer perception, positioning, and appropriate account navigation strategies. The development should also provide demonstration on commercial viability for the business and the customer within the remit of the deal build tools available.
- Work with accredited supplier partners to ensure capability, partner governance and best practice
- Provide consultation (where required) on sales capability development, interventions and approaches within SME and M&PS to extend and align activity across B&PS.
- Embed a coaching culture in Business & Public Sector Sales through the utilisation of observation and evaluation tools and specific Sales KPI MI and demonstration of best in class coaching and methodology adoption.
