Our client is a well-established and astutely run business who create bespoke solutions for their clients throughout the UK. The ideal candidate will be a pro-active, energetic and competent individual with previous experience in a warehousing capacity, although it would be highly advantageous if you have prior experience working with electrical assembly products. Attention to detail is paramount and you will have a close liaison with other team members in order to keep the business run efficiently.
Main duties;
• Confidence using the in house computer system to allocate location/ product code, pick and pack stock for delivery daily that goes out via pallet
• Checking in/ out goods for deliveries, quality checking, organising product within the warehouse, use testing equipment to certify product use.
• Regular audits are carried out on product, you must be seen to have true organisational skills and meet regular health and safety checks
• This is a very physical role so you will need to be physically fit and able to safely handle heavy items
To be considered for the role you must have the following attributes???
• You must be a logical thinker who is technically minded
• Dexterity would be useful as you will be assembling a wide variety of different products
• A counterbalance forklift license would be desirable but not essential.
• You will be a team player and assist your colleagues in every way you can.
Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and Fri 8am-4:30pm with a 30min break, some overtime is available and flexibility to work a little later on occasions would be required.
