The company is a world leading provider of IT Service Management solutions. Its award winning software, assyst, is used by many companies worldwide helping them align their Service Delivery and Support with ITIL's best practice guidelines.

They are headquartered in Edinburgh, UK with offices across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

The company is currently undergoing challenging expansion in their Software Development Department.

As a result, they are now looking to recruit several experienced developers to enhance their capability.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of significant features and components of the assyst product suite.
• Responsible for all aspects of the development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation and testing.
• Undertaking diverse and dynamic projects dependent upon departmental requirements.
• Provide 3rd level application support where appropriate.

The Essential Experience:

• 2:1 University Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or equivalent
• Extensive JAVA development experience
• RDBMS knowledge and experience, e.g. SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Enthusiastic, flexible, career driven & responsible
• Good communicator

Desirable:

• JBOSS and or Web Sphere.
• System integrations e.g. Message Bus or CTI.
• DoJo, JavaScript, Angular, JSON, REST.
• JEE techniques & technologies such as EJB, Servlets, JSP, JMS, etc.
• Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience of working within Agile and multi-discipline teams e.g. scrum, iterative development, user stories etc.
