Our client is a leading European owned, global Tier 1 Automotive supplier who are seeking a Plant Manager for a site with 400 employees and GBP50million revenue, based in the North West. The role has responsibility for finance, operations, production, CI, manufacturing, P&L, engineering and quality. The role reports into the Global Operations Director.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day operation of your plant through internal reviews, KPI's and established plans
Execute KPI's cascaded from Group to plant level
Ensure rapid development and increased profitability of the operation.
Plan and implement structural changes in the plant
Establish, develop and highly qualify the organisation, and continuously develop the team
Ensure that the operational footprint meets all customer expectations in terms of deliveries, quality, cost and environmental/social responsibility
Motivate the management team and develop a professional plant organisation
Profile of Candidate:
Strong managerial skills and solid execution power.
Must have a proven track record of managing a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier facility
Focus and skills in optimisation and plant management.
Commercially strong
Abilities in target identification, execution, monitoring and corrective actions.
Strong operational leader
