Customer Services Administrator
Location: Cambridge
Hours: Full time, permanent 8.45am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary: GBP16,000 - GBP19,000p.a. Depending on experience

Our client is looking for a Customer Services Administrator to provide efficient and relevant information, advice, guidance and assistance to customers who are experiencing financial difficulties
Main duties:
* Operate within the agreed procedure and recognised protocol to assist customers who are experiencing financial difficulties, managing each case on an individual basis, whilst keeping in line with policy
* Recommend customers to seek free independent advice from organisations such as National Debtline, Money Advice or the local Citizens Advice Bureau
* Arrange concessions or arrangements as appropriate to assist customers in the short term to manage their finances, making recommendations to capitalise arrears, if appropriate
* Respond promptly to customer needs adhering to agreed SLAs
* Maintain detailed up to date records for the purpose of continuity of account monitoring and ease of information retrieval
* Undertake face to face meetings or telephone discussions with customers, at a time and place to suit them, to provide help and support, demonstrating flexibility to ensure the best outcome for the borrower
* Ensure that all actions are compliant with FCA, legal, and MMR, regulations and guidelines and are fully documented
Candidate requirements:
* Solid customer services and administration experience, ideally within a financial sector or working with giving debt advice.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confident in one to one/face to face meetings
* Ability to provide advice and guidance
* Demonstrate understanding and empathy
* Problem solving skills
* Must be computer literate
* An appreciation of, and experience in, Financial Services and, in particular, mortgage administration
