Radian Group has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their team based in Collins House, Eastleigh. You will be on a part time fixed term contract for 12-15 months covering maternity leave and be paid a competitive salary of GBP40,000.00 - GBP45,000.00 pro rata.

About the Financial Accountant role
Reporting to the Financial Controller this maternity cover role requires a qualified Accountant to work with the finance team to provide statutory financial reporting and management accounting services to the Group and its subsidiaries. This will include preparation of financial statements, coordination of taxation matters and various ad hoc matters.
Skills and experience needed to become our Financial Accountant
We are looking for someone who is a real all rounder with the ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously and manage these timely and efficiently alongside monthly reporting duties. You will work with a number of different teams across Radian, so a personable approach and the ability to build good working relationships will be key. You will need to be equally comfortable working on your own and as part of the team.
The role focusses heavily on our accounting system, Open Accounts. Knowledge of this particular system is not essential, but experience operating on a variety of systems (Sage, SAP etc) is required.
We are looking to include a detailed hand over with the current job holder, so you will have a good background of the role and projects, as well as time to hand responsibilities back at the end of the contract. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions whilst working side by side with the current post holder.
