The Role
As the Office Manager, you will be tasked with managing the day-to-day activities of the Sales Office.
Specifically, you will oversee and motivate a small team of sales staff to achieve their sales objectives and maintain productivity. You will seek to get the most out of each team member and maximise the potential of each customer and account.
- Your activities will include:
- Managing the workflow of your team and ensuring they are productive
- Providing support to the external sales team
- Overseeing customers’ credit limits and payment terms
- Dealing with enquiries from customers and resolving their issues
- Managing supplier relationships
About You
You will need to be highly organised, flexible and motivated, with a good level of IT literacy. A “can do” attitude is vital as all team members support each other by contributing and having a full understanding of all aspects of the Sales Team’s daily tasks from sales processing, dispatching orders and credit control.
To be considered for the role of Office Manager, you will need:
- Enthusiasm
- Commercial awareness
- Versatility – have the ability to switch between tasks quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superb attention to detail
Management experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
