Our Client has just been taken over by a world leader in interior cabin products, fastener distribution and logistical services for commercial, business and military jets.

They now have a new opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join them where you will be required to support and develop monthly closing processes and financial reporting and analysis activities. This is a permanent full time position based at their site in Leighton Buzzard.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst, the role involves assisting the Galley Structures Senior Finance Analysts with specific focus on headcount and operational spending. Supporting with the production of monthly management accounts and with the monthly forecast, annual budget and strategic plan, you will have regular reviews with the leadership team to ensure that departmental spend and headcount forecasts are accurate, and variances are understood.

Working closely with the engineering management and with HR teams, you will process month end accruals for open purchase orders, provide detailed analysis where required and will manage the general ledger to ensure costs are reflected correctly.

They are looking for someone who is a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA), who has experience in month end close and delivering to tight deadlines. With strong communication and organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail, you will have experience within a manufacturing environment and with JDE or another ERP system.
