Job Title: Finance Assistant (Disbursement)

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week or part time as a job share will be considered.

Job Status: fixed-term up until 30^th September 2017 to cover a period of maternity leave.

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: £19,303.21 per annum (pro rata)

Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a Disbursement Assistant to join our vibrant Finance, Procurement and Disbursements team to cover a period of maternity leave.

In this role you will work proactively to provide support to the Disbursement of one of our main funding streams. The successful person will be responsible for day to day management of funding claims, checking evidence within strict set criteria, entering payment details onto our Disbursement and finance systems and ensuring that all payments reconcile, so finance experience is desirable. You will also be required to liaise directly with the grant recipients so an excellent sense of customer service is also essential.

We are looking for a person who is able to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and accuracy, have a strong attention to detail, work with minimal supervision and be able to work as part of a team.  You will have excellent written and spoken English skills and ideally an Intermediate level of IT skills, experience of using Microsoft Office and using call logging systems. Experience of using bespoke database and finance systems an advantage but full training will be given.
