As a Lecturer at the College your key responsibilities will include:

• Maximising learner recruitment, retention and success through the provision of an outstanding educational experience which enable learners to maximise their potential.
• Delivering outstanding courses which meet learner needs through the use of a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies, allowing learners to access a comprehensive range of resources and providing comprehensive assessment opportunities.
• Completing and maintaining effective data in relation to learners including, attendance, individual learner targets, progression, achievement and destination.
• Being responsible for a course/courses of study and learner outcome.

With a Degree in Computing or a Computing related subject you will have previous experience teaching BTEC Computing at levels 3-5.  A Level 5 teaching qualification and Level 2 qualification in English and Maths or a commitment to complete these within 2 years will be essential.  Experience of teaching on apprenticeships is an advantage.
