Finch Club brief on Company
Having national press coverage and a notable following on social media helps drive the reputation of the company forward. We were very impressed with the studio and coupled with the leadership of the company it makes this a very exciting time to be joining. You will have the chance to work closely with an impressive, professional, young team. The team is complimented by an MD that has experience in every stage of the design lifecycle, who will openly work together with you on any aspect of your role when needed. Such is the experience within the team, they are malleable enough to cover each others backs and muck in together when needed. So it is important that any new team member has the same attitude towards being a team member and utilising your skills flexibly.
The studio is open-plan with off-site parking, the layout is collaborative yet spacious and the ambience is productive yet chilled. Music buzzed away gently in the background while the smart/casual dressed team squirreled away at their designer desks and huge apple monitors. Although rare for their industry, they boast a prominent high street location in the rural town of Farnham lovely leafy part of Surrey. Spoiled for choice when it comes to lunch! Plenty of natural sunlight comes in through large bay windows on the front and the back opens out into a gorgeous little courtyard setup perfectly for any impromptu al fresco lunches!
As if that wasn’t all enough for you to apply already - The secret Easter egg to working here (that you may not have the pleasure of experiencing until your first day on the job) is the coffee…I was greeted what was perhaps the most perfect looking and tasting cup of coffee on arrival. I nearly took a photo, I mean who can actually put one of those cool leaves into the froth on a coffee and make it look so effortless too? The MD of this company can! The actual taste of the coffee was as equally pleasing as the visual. Relevant? Yes, and more than just if you love coffee! This pride in presentation and delivery underpins everything this company holds dear to its service and values. They would not be happy to remodel a house that didn’t both look great and also tick every box technically and functionally from the inside-out or back to front?
Opportunities to work on completely transforming houses like these don’t come about very often and neither does the chance to work in such a great environment with some great likeminded professional people. You are going to have the chance to develop, learn new skills and grow with the business at a very exciting time.
If you have the passion and enthusiasm to work for the industry leaders in this rewarding and growing design sector we’d like to hear from you. Any examples of your work are encouraged, so please send a few relevant examples that demonstrate your abilities.
