After 30 happy years the wonderful Michael is retiring after leading a steady team of ten to twenty permanent and contract colleagues ensuring targets were met and quality maintained.

So we have a new vacancy and opening for a 17th Edition qualified electrical Group Leader.
We would love it if you had 17th Edition however applicants will be considered if you have extensive electrical experience along with panel wiring experience who would love to progress into a supervisory role.

This cracking World class manufacturing business who have been manufacturing refrigeration units for over 60 years based in Bradford and employ over two hundred people. They are part of a World wide network of manufacturing facilities.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

- Overview of relevant production activities
- Execution of the production plan, respecting targets in term of On Time Delivery, Efficiency, Quality
- Control of Overdue orders and activate corrective actions
- Lead, motivate and develop skills of team; including temporary employees
- Management control of assigned staff in term of discipline and absenteeism
- Attend the production meeting reporting relevant facts to other departments
- Identify production problems, working with Industrial Engineering on short and long term solutions
- Responsible for 5S implementation
- Responsible for training planning and delivery, activating relevant support when necessary
- To comply with company policies, procedures and standards and promote good health, safety and environmental practice at all times

Must have:

- 17th Edition Certificate in Electrical Proficiency
- Knowledge of Lean Principles
- Product and technology knowledge
- Able to understand engineering drawings and documentation
- Knowledge of Health & Safety principles and practices
- Standard IT skills (Excel, Word)

Salary - monthly - 23K

Working hours - 7.30am- 4pm Mon-Thursday and Fri 7.30am-1pm
