Our client has a new and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company who provide industries throughout the UK with materials handling systems. They are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual who is capable of sourcing new business whilst providing support to service an existing range of customers. General duties will include:
Responding to website and telephone enquiries;
Working with the proposals team to formulate and design layouts;
Visiting both existing and potential clients around the UK;
Assess site conditions against project requirements;
Preparation of detailed costings/quotations;
Working with the marketing team;
Attend exhibitions and follow up leads;
New business development;
Liaison with project team;
Ad hoc duties as required.
Interested candidates should be familiar with AutoCAD 2D and have a knowledge of materials handling systems or experience of working with machinery/capital equipment. You should also be a confident negotiator with excellent communication skills and able to present yourself professionally.
