PCB Re-Worker
We are looking for a Re-Worker to join the production team of a company based in Stevenage. You will be reworking and assembling PCB's and will be required to work from assembly drawings and build packs, hand solder fine pitch surface mount components, remove bridges, replace components etc and solder conventional components to IPC-A-610, class 2 and 3.
You will need to have knowledge of BGA, QFP, TSOP and multi leg PLCC's and chip components down to size 0402 along with knowledge of SMT component recognition and SMT number codes and be familiar with pre-form, insert and crop component leads using hand tools such as cutters, pliers etc.
You will have the ability to undertake SMT wet board assembly and operate various machinery used in the assembly process, such as flow solder machines, cleaning tanks, drills etc.
You will also have the ability to incorporate modifications such as wire links and track cuts and understand the general requirements for PCB assembly and static control and complete production documentation
