LOCATION: Southampton
JOB TITLE: Pipefitter
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP14.11ph -Monday - Friday - overtime between GBP21.16ph - GBP23.99ph
WORKING HOURS: 38 hours per week + overtime available
THE COMPANY: Established in the year 2000, our client's workshops and offices are located in Southampton, Hampshire They offer a personalised and professional engineering service to their clients operating in a variety of markets covering the pharmaceutical, petro-chemical, power generation, marine, water, gas, aerospace, paper, food and the building service industry.
THE ROLE: Due to continued growth our client is now looking to recruit 3 Pipefitters to work at their new modern workshop facilities in Calmore Industrial Estate Southampton and also on their site contracts.
Key Experience needed is a follows:
Fabricating pipework in both ferrous and non ferrous materials for the petro - chemical industry.
Working within a pipe fabrication workshop on all diameters and schedules from ??" NB to 24" NB pipe.
Preparation and tack welding the pipework ready for our multi coded welders.
Hydro - testing of pipework.
Onsite installation of pipework within the petro- chemical industry is preferred.
Candidates with previous training certification such as safety passport, MEWPS, basic rigging and slinging, mobile scaffolding etc would be an advantage.
Successful candidates have the opportunity to work overtime at premium time rates.
