My client is currently looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Co-ordinator to join their team who will be responsible for managing the maintenance contracts and service agreements for the business machinery and equipment. Manage external contractors for support services such as waste, security and electrics and be the contact to maintain and initiate improvements across the business. Be the appointed Company's Health and Safety advisor responsible for managing Health and Safety requirements for the company including COSHH, Risk assessments and all statutory inspections. Support the Purchasing Team Leader running the department on a day-to-day basis, raising purchase orders and expediting deliveries.
The Role
• Site facilities
• Health and Safety for the company
• Maintenance contracts for key equipment/machinery and services
• Supporting the Purchasing Team Leader in running projects for the business
The Candidate
• IT literate, eg- EFACS (desirable), MS Word, Excel or similar
• UK Driving License held
• NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable - training will be provided)
• Articulate, good attention to detail with clear verbal communication skills
• Be willing to attend seminars and courses where required
• Must be pro-active, self-motivated and organised
