Do you want to work for a leading state of the art Engineering Company? Our client a leading specialist in their field based in Chesham and up and down the UK are looking for a Trainee Systems Engineer. Due to the constant expansion and increase in control systems, our client is seeking a trainee to learn about their activities and become part of a driven team which operate to an exceptionally high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will need to have a basic understanding of electrical and electro mechanical engineering as well as an appreciation of PC programming
- A working knowledge of CNC's, PLC's, Servo Drives and HMI control panels would be helpful for this role
- An ability to use and a familiarity with a CAD system is essential for this role
- The ideal candidate have to be able to demonstrate they have the required knowledge and ability to learn the necessary skills and / or have relevant qualifications to HND, BTEC or Degree Standard
- On completion of training the candidate will be capable of commissioning and fault finding multi- axis CNC machine control systems
Key Attributes:
- Must be self driven and motivated with a professional approach and a strong attention to detail
- The ideal candidate will be driven and have strong communication and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Impeccable attention to detail
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 16:00 Friday 7:30 - 12:00
