Due to continued growth of our Family Business we are looking to recruit 2 new Prep Room Operatives to assist with the preparation of fresh produce in our busy Prep Room.
Although the role is predominantly food preparation, due to the levels of stock we have to produce for our customers, this is more of a Manufacturing/Factory line position and therefore the successful applicant will need to be physically fit. We will also require a good level of communication in English, both verbally and in written form due to the training programme and induction.
Duties of the role include:
- Ensure all start up procedures are followed as instructed.
- Ensure all production targets are met on a daily basis in accordance with production schedules.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed in accordance with the BRC policies.
- Ensure all products are produced in line with company specification.
- Ensure that all finished product is packed, weighed and labelled in accordance with legal requirements.
- Ensure all company policies & procedures are followed and relevant paperwork completed.
- Quarantine any product that does not met the required standard
- Ensure all traceability coding and records are maintained in line with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean production area to comply with the daily cleaning schedules and maintain the relevant paperwork.
- Make sure all personal hygiene and product hygiene rules are followed.
- Report any quality issues to the Prep Room Manager.
