Job Title: Internal Sales
Location: Willenhall, WV13
Salary: up to £20k
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Holiday: 25 days holiday a year in addition to the bank holidays
The company is the UK's largest and most experienced independent supplier of ironmongery, security systems and balustrades. They are currently looking for a candidate to join their internal sales team.
Job Role:
Development of internal (non-project) sales particularly with respect to pre-order activities. To include promotion of the Ironmongery and More proposition fulfilled either via the Sales Centre or e-commerce platform. Develop total Sales Centre sales (Projects and General Trade) by providing sales support to KAMS, Estimators and Sales Centres Managers for follow up of unawarded project enquiries to awarded stage and logging of updates on Flashbolt.
Ultimately the primary responsibility of the role is to ensure absolute customer satisfaction.
- Making outgoing calls to prospect for business with existing and potential customers
- Carry out market research via telephone and internet to identify sales targets and opportunities for further follow up by sales team
- Checking and monitoring Glenigans for new/current opportunities and arranging mail outs - notify SCM & KAMs before sending.
- Managing OTS updates in support of KAMS and in-house accounts for relevant KAMs and sales centres
- Updating new & existing customers with literature and pricing.
- Development of internal (non-project) sales using the Ironmongery and More proposition
- Follow up on unawarded quotes to awarded stage
- Proving support to KAMS with follow up on awarded projects to order stage.
- Liaise with KAMs and Estimators to feed back any information obtained during the chase process
- Update Flashbolt with chase notes/progression of jobs
- Providing O&M manuals to end users to generate after sales on completion of each project.
- Communicate opportunities between business units to maximise cross selling across the business
- Support KAMs and SCMs in sourcing relevant or required information as requested
- Provide support on entering and fulfilling sales orders as required

Qualifications and Professional Memberships
- GAI qualification preferred.
- Good IT Skills
- GCSE's in Maths & English

- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel and Word)

- Ability to prioritise workload and ensure effective delegation to deliver required results

The candidate will need to be prepared to work to 8pm on a rota with the other team members.
