Our client has been designing and producing quality made-to-measure Furniture Covers and Curtains for over half a century and with the continued development and expansion of their furniture reupholstery service, they are now firmly established as the UK’s leading Reupholsterer. They are a successful, family run company and employ over 300 people at their Head Office in Preston.

They currently have an opportunity for a Security Officer to join their small Security Team engaging in a varied range of tasks throughout the site.

This position would ideally be suited to an active, enthusiastic individual with a flexible attitude to work who ideally is used to working within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities will include the opening, locking and securing of the site, along with the monitoring and testing of our CCTV and other alarm systems.

In addition, the successful applicant would be expected to provide assistance on other general maintenance tasks as the need arises.

Hours of Work are operated on a rota basis, as follows:    

Monday to Thursday - Opening Shift 5.30am to 2.00pm and Locking Up Shift - 10.00am to 6.30pm
Friday - Opening Shift 5.30am to 12.30pm and Locking Up Shift -    11.30am to 5.30pm
