Lead Nurse
GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 per annum
Midlands/Milton Keynes
(Other locations considered where there is reasonable proximity to majority of services)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dynamic Lead Nurse to develop clinical services within Compass across a diverse range of services.
Compass works in communities currently within the Midlands, Yorkshire and London providing innovative and holistic health and wellbeing services for children, young people and adults. Our services include school aged health programmes, early interventions for vulnerable young people and substance misuse treatment. Over the past 5 years our portfolio of services has undergone significant expansion incorporating physical health, emotional wellbeing and lifestyle behaviours.
As a key member of the Senior Management Team and our Clinical Governance Committee, the role is a challenging mix of strategic clinical leadership and operational delivery through local clinical leads. You will provide professional direction on all clinical matters by interpreting national guidance to inform high quality practice in line with the ethos of Compass. You will be responsible for clinical policy, review and audit and leading the implementation of programmes of change to improve clinical care.
You will be a graduate and RGN/RMN registered with a current PIN. You will have substantial clinical and management experience across a broad spectrum of settings including community. You will also have a proven track record in delivering a range of quality assurance and clinical initiatives to develop best practice, achieving key organisational targets and demonstrating continuous performance improvement.
With highly developed leadership skills, you will be adept at communicating your vision and commitment to our nursing team, whilst developing appropriate CPD opportunities and coaching local leads. You will ensure that quality and safety are seen as everyone's responsibility, whilst driving practice innovation to enhance service delivery and development.
If you are flexible, compassionate and responsive with personal values that match those of Compass you may be just the person for this role.
