Music Transcriber - 6 Months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Music transcriber to join Adapt Worldwide based in Central London.

Do you listen to music on a daily basis? Do you find yourself knowing all the words to various songs and singing along? Do you like hip-hop and rap music? Are you a native level speaker in one of the following languages?

• Portuguese
• Spanish
• Italian
• German
• French
• Chinese
• Korean
• Russian
• Turkish

If so, this could be your next gig!

We’re Adapt Worldwide, part of Welocalize, a top 10 global language service provider founded in 1997. One of our well known clients has contracted us to assist in optimizing an application that will be coming out with some enhanced features this Autumn. You will be required to transcribe songs via one of the above languages.

We’re looking for people who love listening to music, with a keen ear for details & great attention to the lyrics. Preferably someone who is a power user of streaming music services.

This 6-month project will run out our central London Office
Salary offered: £18,000 per annum

Starting date: ASAP

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Ability to maintain focus and listen to music for extended periods of time.
• Type 30 WPM (words per minute)
• Able to follow instructions and conventions set by the client.
• Passionate about music, familiar with hip-hop and rap song artists.
• Ability to understand song lyrics, jargon and slang.
• Experience with cloud based software applications is a plus.
