Concorde Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator (De-Brief) to join the team at our Magna Park Distribution Centre in Lutterworth, to provide full support to the transport operational team. The successful candidate will be rewarded with £20,748  per annum + 10% non contractual bonus.

Concorde Logistics, part of the Steinhoff UK Retail Group, is an expert in the field of furniture home delivery and assembly. We have a network of over 8 Distribution Centres, responsible for delivering furniture to over 300,000 customers per year.

The successful Transport Administrator (De-Brief)  will be required to marshal vehicles departing and entering the transport yard ensuring all details are record and enter accurately on to documentation and participate in the creation of departmental KPI and financial reports.

As our Transport Administrator (De-Brief)  you will have the following duties:

- Engage all external and internal customer by communicating in a friendly and professional manner ensuring that they are left with a lasting positive impression of our department

- Liaise with customers to ensure all records and reports are completed in a timely manner

- Ensure that any queries or concerns are dealt with in a professional, friendly and courteous manner

- Support a culture within the department where the Customer is firmly at the centre of everything that we do

- Co-ordinate of all transport administration regarding vehicles departing and entering the DC.

- Establish an in-depth knowledge of the systems, inclusive of PDAs, to support the operation

- To coordinate with the returns team to ensure drivers are adhering to company policies relating to the return of stock to the DC 

- Carry out daily tool kit, uniform and PPE checks of drivers departing the DC and challenge drivers not conforming to company policy

- To liaise with the Gatehouse Security, shunters and transport office to ensure the yard area is operated in a clean and safe manner as not to cause harm to others.

- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship building skills

- Ability to administer and coordinate

- Have the ability to understand and present financial information

- People management skills that demonstrate impact and influence.

- Previous experience with a logistics environment would be desirable
