Site Electrician / electrical engineer (Days 37.5hrs) - Ilminster
My client, a global manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an electrician / electrical engineer to work at their manufacturing site in Ilminster near Yeovil.
The successful site electrician will have previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering organisation and will have carried out a range of electrical fault finding, installations and servicing tasks on plant machinery. Basic mechanical knowledge would be an advantage to this role.
The Maintenance Electrician key tasks;
* ??Identify faults in a breakdown situation and identify materials and resources required to rectify
* ??Dismantle faulty material and repair / replace faulty parts
* ??Fit and Install new machinery
* ??Carry out planned servicing
* ??Assist on project work
* ??Undertake Electrical Installation work
* ??Undertake and document Electrical Testing
The successful Electrical Engineer Must have;
* ??Excellent Electrical experience inc. 17th Edition
* ??Must have Manufacturing / Engineering experience
* ??Good communication skills
* ??Enjoy being part of a team
In return my client offers excellent benefits including 26 days holidays plus bank Holidays, Group pension scheme, Training and development. Salary will be GBP30k including holiday premium, depending on experience. Hours are a double day shift 6am-2pm Monday to Thursday and 6.30am-1.30pm Friday (37.5hrs) and Monday to Thursday 1.25pm-10.35pm and on Fridays 1.25pm to 5.55pm (37.5hrs)
