One of the largest P&C insurers in the world is hiring across all levels of experience for their Predictive Analytic practice! My Client is building a future where finding a product to fit your P&C insurance needs is easy and fun. To do this, my clients are utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning to price products to be consumed by their customers. You will play an important role in the growth and development of this start up like organization, established within one of the largest P&C insurers in the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Innovating around new algorithms and models to solve new problems in the recruiting industry
* Development and testing of the core matching algorithms, as well as automatically evaluating and refining these algorithms
* Prototyping, development and testing of various components (text mining, NLP features, social media analysis) in a product pipeline that matches candidate profiles against job postings with high accuracy
* Porting and development of core algorithms and analysis methods for large-scale cluster deployment
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
* Strong math/statistics/machine learning background
* MS/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* 6+ years of relevant work experience including 3 years of statistical modelling and data mining in an insurance context (insurance company or insurance consulting firm) using large and complex datasets.
* Experience with machine learning librarires (scipy, scikit-learn, pandas, Graphlab, etc.)
* Experience designing and implementing new algorithms
* Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, AWS, etc.)
* Python, R, and SAS coding experience
* Team player
* Expertise in statistical modelling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, GLM, tree models, cluster analysis, principal components, and feature creation, validation.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
* Successfully built large-scale data processing and analysis pipelines
* Parallel programming experience
* NLP and text mining experience
* Database hands-on experience (SQL or noSQL)
* Experience working in a software development team
* Experience working in a startup
Must be US citizen or Green Card
