After speaking with the Technical Director he is looking for someone who has a good mix of analogue and digital design experience. Ideally you'll have written some Embedded C code for micros. This isn't a must have, and they're not looking for an in this. But in an ideal world, you'd be able to write come code for a PIC micro, for example. But primarily they want a strong analogue and digital design engineer. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the design of their next generation range of products, where you'll be able to see designs through from concept to manufacture.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital to be an important part of our client's Electronics team based in Berkshire. My client is a market leader in the design and manufacture of Elevator Safety and Communication products. With manufacturing sites around in the UK, Singapore, China, US and Czech Republic and with their products have been installed in over 3 million buildings and are known for their first-class performance, quality and reliability.
Due to continued growth they are seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital for the design and development of new and existing products. You will be involved in the design of analogue and digital circuits as well as the design of robust firmware, programming micro-controllers in C taking these from initial concept through to manufacture.
Key skills/experience for Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital:
- Analogue and digital circuit design
- Experience of taking electronic designs from concept to manufacture
- Micro-controllers and Embedded C programming experience, is desirable
- Degree qualified in a related discipline
