About Us

Our client is now looking for a part-time experienced College Administrator at their small independent specialist college for students with learning disabilities based in Dartington. This is a 20 hour a week, term time position which will also include working an additional 15 days during school holidays.

The Role
As a College Administrator, you will be tasked with assisting with the day-to-day running of our college by providing a comprehensive administrative support service.
Reporting to the Teacher in Charge, your responsibilities will include:
- Reception duties, acting as the first point of contact for parents, suppliers and external agencies
- General admin tasks, including organising the post, typing, photocopying and maintaining data
- Managing the college office and supplies
- Submitting reporting
- Support all the internal processes such as attendance registers, staff timesheets, equipment logs, petty cash, student money, bus management, cleaning contract and security
- Providing recruitment support to HR
- Co-ordinating meetings and recording minutes
About You
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Experience gained within a school or a college admin role
- Some experience of working with students with learning disabilities
- Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office packages
- At a minimum, five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C, with at least a B in Maths
- Great communication skills
Other job titles you may have held previously could include Administrator, Office Assistant, School Administrator, College Receptionist, Student Support Administrator or Student Services Officer.
