Working hours: Permanent, full-time. Around 45 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days rota including weekend work.
We are delighted to be working on behalf of the Farmer's Kitchen that is part of a successful family run business situated on the edge of the beautiful historic town of Market Harborough. The business includes a large farm which grows fruit, vegetables and potatoes and supplies the award winning farm shop and Farmer's Kitchen with their homegrown fresh produce. The Farmer's Kitchen menu features their homegrown, homemade and local produce and it changes with the seasons. All of their food is cooked fresh to order by Chef's who take pride in producing delicious home made meals.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef to join this passionate team. Reporting into the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing the fresh produce ready to deliver the menu.
Key responsibilities for Chef in Market Harborough to include:
1.Preparing areas in the kitchen for food preparation
2.Prepare and serve food in accordance with agreed recipes, menus and quality standards
3.Monitor portion and waste control
4.Ensure stock rotation protocols are adhered to
5.Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
6.Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with any additional duties as reasonably required
The ideal candidate for this role will share our clients passion for providing an excellent customer experience, exceptional food and cooking with fresh and top quality ingredients. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef, have a flexible approach to your work and a good knowledge of Food Hygiene. Experience of working in a kitchen with all fresh food is also a must.
