Due to continued growth within the business and to support the furtherance of their key aims, the exciting new position of Finance Technician has been created within the Corporate Finance Team. 

Committed and enthusiastic, the Finance Technician will provide a high quality financial processing, calculation and evaluation service to The Group; ensuring the timely and accurate input of financial data to the company’s financial system as well as the calculation and reconciliation of financial information.

AAT qualified or actively working towards this, you will provide technical support, performing accurate and timely reconciliations of balance sheet items to include payroll deductions, VAT, CIS tax deducted, cash book and petty cash.  You will also be responsible for completing statutory returns in line with procedures and regulations and for processing payments.

With a clear understanding and knowledge of double entry book keeping and a significant understanding of the various accounting functions of a business organisation, you will demonstrate good practical skills in using Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word and Excel and a background of financial systems. Able to perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are investigated and corrected, you should be capable of preparing and presenting clear and accurate financial information and of reconciling large volumes of financial data and identifying errors.
