About us.

We provide transport advice and development planning assistance to both the public and private sector. Our services range from data collection and traffic modelling to detailed transport assessments and travel plans to scheme design and assessment from a transport perspective.

We are currently recruiting a Traffic / Transport Planner to manage projects and provide support to our senior consultants in delivering current and future projects. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree e.g. geography or engineering and ideally a transport-related post-graduate qualification. This role would suit a someone with 2 – 3 years experience who is looking for their next challenge and is able to hit the ground running. 

Traffic / Transport Planner Key Tasks:

+ Assist with data collection, to include parking surveys and trip counts; analyse and present the results
+ Assess scheme layout and design and provide feedback accordingly
+ Prepare transport assessments and travel plans in support of development proposals
+ Prepare draft proposals for future work and tender documentation
+ Attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders 

About you:

You will be IT literate with sound analytical ability and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Importantly, you will be enthusiastic and looking for a long-term career in highways and transportation. Full UK driving licence preferred.

Transport Consultant, Traffic Consultant, Urban Planning Traffic Consultant, Highway Planning, Department of Transport, Planning, Transport Infrastructure Planner, Traffic Engineer.
