This is a fantastic opportunity to join our in-house facilities team, who are responsible for managing the building services and maintenance contracts across all our stores and warehouses.

You'll be responsible for providing all first line assistance to a range of employees across the business and coordinating contracts and work across the Next Estate.

About the Maintenance Co-ordinator / Facilities Coordinator Role:

You will:

  • Be responsible for the coordination of the maintenance contracts for 600 plus Next Stores and Warehouses
  • Liaise with the Project Team to obtain plant and equipment engineering information for completed shop projects to ensure the on-going and safe operation of that plant and equipment
  • Highlight any issues regarding contractor performance to ensure high performance standards are being met
  • Play an active role in ensuring all Health & Safety and Compliance standards are met
  • Be responsible for ensuring the maintenance helpdesk is kept up to date with the correct contractor details so jobs logged by stores are being attended to by the right trades
  • Assist the Department Management on all maintenance related spend to ensure budgets are adhered to, and investigate where required any overspends
  • Ensure that all invoices are correctly administered and passed to the relevant person for payment

The ideal Maintenance Co-ordinator / Facilities Coordinator:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role * Ideally have some prior experience in customer services with the ability to communicate with employees at all levels and provide a quick and efficient service
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work with large volumes of data and input information accurately onto various systems
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges, work well under pressure and flexible during peak periods
