The client:

As part of the Invista team, you can join in the departments of innovations to improve clothing, carpet, luggage, plastic bottles, automotive interiors, airbags and more. Their portfolio of global trademarks includes Lycra fibre, Coolmax facbic, Cordura fabric, antron carpet fibre and Stainmaster carpet. Headquartered in the US, Invista has a business presence in more than 20 countries and is one of the world's largest integrated producers of polymers and fibres, primarily for nylon, elastane and polyester applications.
Invista has set the goal of sustaining a world-class level of performance and they are looking for the right candidate with a high motivation and ambitious drive to join their Technical team.
The role:
?? Ensure spinning systems are operated to optimize performance, maintain production and maximise yields.
?? Participate in and lead Technical programmes aimed at improving yield and quality.
?? Use data analysis skills to solve problems.
?? Work with Quality Engineer to drive quality across the site, through tools such as FMEA, 8D reporting or equivalent.
?? Investigate customer complaints to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
?? University graduate, ideally with an engineering or science degree.
?? Good problem solving, analytical thinking, decision making and communication skills.
?? Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
?? Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office or equivalent.
?? Experience of performing statistical analysis of data sets.
?? Proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
Desirable :
?? Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role.
