Experienced MOT Tester needed for busy fast fit tyre & MOT centre in Portishead

The Role

As MOT Tester / MOT Inspector you will work on a variety of vehicles to put them through their annual MOT testing and certification. You will also liaise with customers about advisory work and essential repairs to pass the test.

The Company

Our client is an independent and busy fast fit centre with a long established base in Portishead and a brand new facility and modern workshop in Bristol. From basic MOTs to replacement clutch, exhaust, brakes or tyres, they offer a comprehensive service.

The Person

As MOT Tester / MOT Inspector you will ideally have a Level 2 MOT Testing Award with good customer communication skills. You must have good interpersonal skills, be a team player and take pride in your work. You will also need a current and full UK driving licence and the relevant experience in testing, servicing and repair of vehicles.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. and Saturday 8.30 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. You will work a 5 day week between Monday and Saturday.
