Job purpose: To perform all responsibilities under each lease agreement involving our clients, and to administer each tenant account on a daily basis for each area of the company. To provide information in accordance with relevant legislation and industry best practice and to ensure our communication is jargon-free and easy to understand. To seek to learn and continuously develop your knowledge and skillset to meet the needs of the business.
Key accountabilities (Not exhaustive):
1. Maintaining and updating the in-house database in accordance with correspondence and other communications exchanged with leaseholders or their solicitors.
2. Dealing with leaseholder queries verbally and in written form, including email.
3. Participate in company-wide initiatives both internally and for external clients.
4. Lease reading, review and interpretation with training.
5. Reviewing and extracting information from various sources including external bodies and Land Registry.
6. Administration of portfolio queries.
Skills and knowledge (Essential):
1. Minimum of GCSE and A Levels or equivalent in English and Maths, with a result of C or above.
2. Accuracy and attention to detail, with suitable accountability.
3. Good organisation skills.
4. Polite and well presented.
5. Confident telephone manner.
6. Competent using standard Microsoft packages particularly excel.
7. Able to work according to set procedures and follow instructions.
Skills and knowledge (Desirable):
1. Some property experience ideally in the Landlord and Tenant field or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
2. Educated to degree level.
3. Basic understanding of leases and leasehold property.
4. Experience of working within a customer focused environment.
5. Any knowledge of the Qube property management system.
6. Proven experience of building and maintaining relationships with external suppliers and clients.
About the Job
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with one hour for lunch.Location: Shad Thames, London SE1.
