When global automotive retailing group, Lei Shing Hong commenced with its first Mercedes-Benz dealership more than 45 years ago, it started on its journey to become the world’s largest Mercedes-Benz retailer. Our UK dealerships operate under our corporate business LSH Auto UK Limited, with 9 dealerships in the Birmingham and Manchester market areas.
Due to continued business success and growth, we are now looking to expand our team through the recruitment of an experienced Data Quality Controller at our Birmingham Central site.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team in the role of Data Quality Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all data stored and used within LSH Auto UK Ltd. The role will also involve reviewing data across a number of systems and ensuring processes are in place to maintain & improve the quality of data used by the business. Duties include:
- To analyse the quality of customer data captured throughout the organisation & ensure records are updated accordingly
- To ensure processes are in place to capture missing data.
- Monitor all data environments and provide support and education to colleagues across the organisation to ensure best practice data management is in place
- To act as point of contact for any data queries, including data access requests
- To assist with data cleaning and validation in conjunction with the marketing department
- To act as contact point for compliance with General Data Protection Regulation
- To act as contact point for the Data Protection Registrar
Who are we looking for?
The ideal Data Quality Controller will have experience of using the CDK Autoline application (known as Kerridge) and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will also have a good understanding of Data Protection Act & General Data Protection Regulations and be adaptable to change. Ideally, you will experience and/or knowledge of working with dealerships or within an automotive environment. You must have a full driving license in order to visit dealerships and other sites.
Rewards & Hours
In return for your hard work as our Data Quality Controller, you will be entitled to a competitive basic salary of £27,000 and a great range of benefits.
