Go Resource are currently looking for a site manager for a fresh produce client base in Kent.
The right person will be responsible for the management, operations and financial performance of the entire business unit .
-General management of a high volume of staff
-Responsible for the P+L, budgeting and forecasting for the business unit
-Responsible for developing and implementing a plan of continual process improvement that delivers efficient and sustainable service for all internal and external service users
-Ensure internal and external quality standards are being met.
-Ensure internal and external service levels are being met.
-Responsible for site Health and Safety
-Ensure the business unit complies with current best practise standards set by customers and other bodies relating to food safety, ethical compliance, and environmental actions.
-Management of direct reports including quality assurance, managers and warehouse manager.
-Other ad hoc duties as required
Key Qualities
1.Evidence of extensive experience working in a comparable role, preferably within the industry
2.Previous experience in managing health and safety for a comparable site and activity
3.Ability to relate to key client personnel in a professional and credible fashion
4.Well developed personal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of employees
5.Good interpersonal skills and well developed leadership and management skills
6.Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to handle a number of tasks at once and meeting deadlines as required
