The Role

As Bid Writer, you will coordinate the company responses to RFPs / RFQs, responding to the needs of potential and existing clients as required. You will direct distribution of RFP work to the Sales Team with responsibilities including:

• Preparation of commercial responses / tenders / proposals / quotation documents
• Reviewing / evaluating / editing materials produced by the Sales team
• Ensuring accuracy, timing, pricing and completion of all documents for submission
• Cleansing / updating / maintenance of company RFP database

The Person

As Bid Writer, you will have previous experience of bid writing and preparation of commercial proposals / tenders / quotation documents with:

• excellent PC skills and ability to grasp new software applications
• numeracy and ability to interpret statistical information / business reports / data etc.
• excellent questioning / listening skills and ability to assimilate accurate information
• excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills
• ability to multi-task / react to challenge and change / self-driven / results orientated

Experience of fleet management / vehicle hire / automotive / contract hire sector would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
