Job Title: Venue Duty Manager - Cornwall's newest nightspot

Location: Cornwall (Place in St Ives)

Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Our client is a unique visitor destination, celebrating the best of Cornish food and drink and offering live evening entertainment in a vibrant venue. Opening in July they are looking for a number of key people to join their team in the run up to launch and beyond.

Job Role:

As the venue duty manager you will be responsible for working with the site manager on producing and presenting a programme of evening entertainment and events to attracts the locals and tourists alike. Co-ordinating the food and beverage offering along with the entertainment schedule you will juggle priorities to ensure a memorable experience for their customers.

The Candidate:

The Ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a venue, nightclub or holiday resort with experience of working with acts, promoters and live events. You will be extremely well organised as well as having a positive personality with first rate leadership qualities and communication skills. You will also need strong commercial and financial awareness and a creative approach to developing a crowd pleasing attraction. You'll enjoy a lifestyle of working weekends and late nights, leading a team that puts a great customer experience at the top of its list of priorities.
