A leading asset manager is looking for a Statutory Accountant to join their growing office in Swindon. The successful candidate will support the Statutory and Technical Accounting Manager with the production of statutory accounts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of statutory accounts from for UK and non UK subsidiaries under IFRS and new UK GAAP.
- Working with auditors on interim and annual audits.
- Preparation of necessary documentation for Board.
- Assist with completion of Request for Proposals (RFPs), returns for the Office of National Statistics and returns/surveys from other similar bodies
Skills required:
- ACCA/ACA qualified
- Understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Good Excel/Word reporting skill
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with preparing statutory accounts
