Electrical Engineer - GBP30,000 - Monday - Friday
My client is a very well respected player within the Facilities Management sector, they are currently looking to recruit a number of Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineers to join the Engineering team on a Critical Contact on Fenchurch Street on a permanent basis.
The main duties of these exciting new roles will be the electrical planned and reactive maintenance of fast moving; BMS controlled building services plant and machinery. Although the roles are electrically biased, applicants must have a good mechanical knowledge base as the role will require multi skilled disciplines.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience within a corporate building services environment. Experience within banking, data centre or critical environments would be a strong advantage, and applicants must be educated to City and Guilds standard in electrical engineering or mechatronics. Applicants will have to hold the 17th edition regulations.
This is a day position with working hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday with plenty of Overtime on offer. This position has a great remuneration package which includes a basic salary of GBP30,000, with the opportunity to increase your earnings with attractive overtime rates. Excellent training and development opportunities and career progression are available with H&S courses and also Mechanical and Electrical training available.
The ideal candidate will be required to service, maintain and repair a variety of Electrical / Mechanical equipment throughout the entire building. You will be required to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on equipment such as;
•Pumps
•Motors
•FCU's
•Generators
•3 Phase power supply
•UPS's
•Data suites
•AHU's
•BMS
•Chillers
•Boilers
•Chilled Water systems
