Due to their continued success our client now have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager (Indirect) to be a key strategic driver for Procurement.
With the confidence to work independently and the drive to succeed, you will build and develop effective relationships with key internal stakeholders demonstrating a full understanding of their requirements and identifying and providing appropriate support & solutions. The ability to speak with credibility at all levels is a must. You will ensure that our client have robust and sustainable supply agreements in place for all key indirect goods and services and you will have the ability to influence decision makers. You will implement and manage a purchasing strategy to maximise the Company's overall purchasing power for indirect inputs whilst managing existing contracts and supplier relationships pro-actively seek savings opportunities.
With a degree, or equivalent work experience in a similar role, you will have the ability to manage a team, lead contract negotiations and be capable of managing the decision making process with multiple stakeholders. You are also required to hold a relevant professional CIPS qualification.
This opportunity will appeal to a Senior Procurement professional with the ability to act as a true ambassador for Procurement and someone who can combine strong procurement expertise with a flexible and astute approach to stakeholder engagement.
