Our client is a Charity who provide supported living tenancies and domiciliary care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, brain injury dementia and severe and enduring mental health illness. They are currently recruiting for full and part time Support Workers to join their team.

This role offers excellent rates of pay, comprehensive training and on-going support. A minimum of 35 hours a week is guaranteed for those that wish to work full time and the minimum contract offered is 16 hours. Our client does not support annualised hours contracts.

What will you be doing?
As Support Worker, your role will be to provide domiciliary support to enable people with learning disabilities to live their lives to the full. You will support them in the day to day tasks involved with ordinary living and in the activities they enjoy.


Who are we looking for?
Experience is not always necessary but if you have the right attitudes and values our clients will support you through the process and teach you everything you need to know (well almost everything!). You will be paid for attending training. All is taught with no e-learning. They also give you shadow shifts to accompany experienced staff to help you initially. You should be:

• Reliable and trustworthy
• Mature and patient with a supportive nature
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Suitable skills/experience: NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care, NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care,
Mental Illness, Care Worker, Domiciliary Support Worker
