Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now on the lookout for a bilingual Business Development Manager to join their team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be based from our client’s London offices and will manage and develop a team in the creation of new business opportunities within the Brazilian market and internationally. 

Please note, this role will involve travel to Brazil on a very regular basis. 

Specifically, you will seek to create sales of our client’s product portfolio. You will achieve this through regular customer visits, in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and the identification of new market opportunities. 

You will effectively manage your team of business development and sales staff to increase sales and direct them to handle customer queries in a timely manner. 

Additionally, you will attend conference and trade shows as required to enhance the brand’s presence, increase your understanding and effectively network. 

Interested? If so, you will need: 

- Extensive sales experience, including the management of a sales team 
- Fluency in Portuguese, ideally Brazilian Portuguese, in addition to English 
- At least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level qualification) in a Science or Business related discipline (2:1 and above) 
- The willingness and flexibility to travel extensively both nationally and internationally 
- A valid driving licence 

Positive and driven, as a Business Development Manager, you will also need plenty of business acumen, a strong work ethic and excellent time management and organisational capabilities. Superb communication and presentation skills will also be key. 

International work experience within a global brand would be beneficial to your application.
