Process Leaders

Our client is looking to recruit Process Leaders in Production at their site in Scropton, Derbyshire and are offering £21,840 per annum to the right candidates.

The Role:

To support the Section Manager in managing the production processes and production staff in order to meet Safety, Quality, Training, Productivity and Cost targets set by the Company, consistently and cost-effectively.  To be responsible for the on-going training of all staff including new starters to the section.

This role has to understand the Operational requirements and work in an environment that is fast paced and extremely pressurised.

Main Responsibilities

• Organising and motivating the team to reach their full potential and ensure effective staffing levels.
• Responsible for all training, development and completion of relevant documentation.
• Achieving consistent quality, standards and specification of the product.
• Ensuring KPI data is monitored, completed and reported as required.
• Ensuring staffing issues are addressed and dealt with effectively, consistently and fairly.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained and improved with the area of responsibility.
• To be aware of, understand, manage and adhere to the maintenance of good GMP.  Area of responsibility to be audit ready at all times.

The Candidate:

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

Level 3 Food Hygiene

Level 2 HACCP

Functional skills English and Maths level 1

Excel intermediate

Good level of communication 

Desirable:

PIA trained

IOSHH qualified

Attitude:

Practical approach to problem solving

Approachable

Forward thinking and motivated

Quality and safety conscious
