Receptionist

Position: Receptionist (Part Time/Job Share)
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire
Salary: Competitive + Bonus Scheme

The Receptionist Role:
The receptionist duties will include answering and transferring incoming calls, meeting and greeting guests, managing incoming and outgoing post, managing the reception area, and general office administration.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 12.45pm to 5.15pm, but you must have the flexibility to cover the morning reception (8.30am – 1.00pm) for holidays and other absences, thus working full time hours on these days. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering and transferring incoming calls
• Meeting and greeting guests
• Managing incoming and outgoing post
• Managing the reception area
• General office administration

Skills & Experience Required:

• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills – a professional telephone manner is essential
• You will understand the importance of good customer service and will strive for service excellence
• Prior experience managing a switchboard and reception is essential
• Strong administrative skills and accurate data entry skills
• An excellent communicator, you will have to be highly organised and be able to prioritise tasks
• With strong IT skills, you will need to be enthusiastic and flexible with an eye for detail
• You will be enthusiastic, confident and keen to learn
