Job Details:

Our client is seeking an experienced, multi skilled Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join their Site Maintenance Team to provide first class engineering for on-site machinery.

The Role: 

It is essential that the Site maintains product flow at all times and you will therefore be required to diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults on a priority basis.  In addition, you will also be required to carry out planned maintenance, and to contribute to the development of the planned maintenance scheme.  Other responsibilities include carrying out site work, completing relevant stores and service records and ensuring on-site spares are kept to optimum levels.

You will have a good working understanding of PLC equipment and the ability to read technical manuals and drawings. We are looking for excellent analytical skills, a good communicator and someone who feels comfortable working on their own or as part of a team.

You will be required to work a variety of shifts within a set rota so a flexible approach is essential.

Training, including the 17th edition will be provided for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will also be keen to undertake personal development in order to progress within the company.
